How long is chin implant recovery?
 

How long is the recovery for when you get a chin implant? I would imagine that people look drastically different right after surgery. I mean they are already adding projection with the implant and then when you add a bunch of swelling on top of that, their chin must be HUGE for quite some time.

I always hate how surgeons try and pretend that recovery time is shorter than it is for operation. Like they claim that rhinoplasty swelling only lasts a few weeks or months... yeah right it can last up to 2 or 3 years!!

I have heard that your appearance returns to being somewhat normal after 1 to 2 weeks but the swelling could take from 6 to 12 months to totally disappear. I haven't had a chin implant but this is just what I heard.
