Night after chin surgery. can't sleep! Had a chin implant placed and sub-mental lipo today. I have not slept at all since I got home, and feel really wired. I will fall asleep for less than a minute then immediately wake back up. I had a scary situation when the nurses removed my breathing tube too early after waking up and couldn't breathe. It could be anxiety from that but I just can not sleep. I'm in pain and the vicodin isn't doing it for me. Any advice would be appreciated. It's midnight so I cant call the doc, should I request percoset so that I will be knocked out? Am I allowed to take melatonin? What pain level is normal, and how long will I have a sore throat (they shoved the breathing tube in a second time just before I could black out)? Has that ever happened to you? Seriously thought I was going to die as I couldn't move or speak to tell them I couldn't breathe. I think they realized the problem when I lost bladder control and started turning red. |
