New methods for jaw reduction?
Hi, I'm very curious about new methods for jaw reduction. I have looked at the known methods, where the size of an enlarged mandible is directly reduced by "shaving" the angle of the jawbone of. I'm also familiar with botox injections into the masseter muscle... Recently there has been succesfull experimental procedures with growing jawbone from stem cells. Has anybody started experimenting with GROWING a narrower jaw out of stem cells, and replace the old wide jaw with the new narrow jaw? I haven't found any articles or papers about it yet... Could somebody enlighten me? ^_^

Be more specific what exactly are you looking for:? Jaw reduction or augmentation with stem cell growing? If it's jaw reduction plastic surgery there are no new methods, if it's aumenting the tip the jaw to make the face look less round you can use any filler, including your own fat cells. And that would look hard enough to immitate the bone.
