Default Chin Implant Surgery In Anchorage, Alaska? Scared...

Hey guys. I have wanted a chin implant for the past 20 years. I finally went yesterday for a consultation. The MD said my chin is mildly weak.

He said he has done 20 chin implants. He says there just isn't a market here for it like there are in some larger cities. I'm in Anchorage, Alaska. Is only 20 something to be afraid of? He said that he's never had one get infected or experience nerve damage. He said that 2 times the edges weren't right so he went back in and fixed it, free of charge.

The procedure uses an anatomical extended gortex implant, sizes small/medium/or large.
General anesthesia isn't used. It's an in office procedure lasting 1.5 hours. The patient is given ativan and the area is numbed locally. The device is placed under the muscles externally.

I don't even know of any other MD's who do chin implant surgery in AK.

Any input guys? Thanks in advance!!!!

For swelling I recommend Arnica Montana. It was my best friend after surgery. Got it at http://www.amazon.com/shops/A39T96CWU5UTWY. Your smile will come back. I had to make adjustments. Your face muscles are tight and they will loosen up. Have you had your check up with the doctor? See a dentist or ortho in regards to your teeth. Hope this helps

This can be an office procedure. Just make sure you feel comfortable and see the size the Dr. intends on using. Maybe check out larger cities in the surrounding area to compare...
