who here has gotten jaw work or implants done?
 

i was watching discover health channel and saw a guy that had jaw implants in to make his jaw more angular. is this a common procedure? who does them and how do they stay in place?

hmmm no one that's done jaw implants. :( i wonder how common of a procedure it is. it's one of those surgeries you know is real but you never meet anyone who's actually done it. i saw in the other forum on here about how many people per year get cheek implants and the number was only like 8000 in the u.s. if only that many people get chin implants the number of people that gets jaw implants must only be a couple hundred! i'd really like to look into this more and find out exactly how jaw implants work. how do they stay in place and all the nitty gritty
