| Jaw implant placement Hi guys,
I was wondering, as I have very little knowledge of jaw augmentation, which areas of the jaw are actually accentuated with the use of an implant?
I believe that they accentuate the back of the jaw (just below the ears) and can give more definition to the front of the jaw (the CHIN). Are these the only two places they accentuate?
Thanks. |

| I personally know someone who had jaw implants and later had them removed because they looked so unnatural. I would not recommend considering it if your jaw is average. Maybe you could post some pictures of your jaw so we can have a better idea of what you want to achieve? |

| I agree with la_angel 100%. the two people I know of that got jaw implants were both unhappy with their hardened and artificial appearance.
Posting pics would definitely help forum members to assess your situation further.
