Strength of chemical peel to do? I don't want to look like a wax mannequin!!!!!
I've been thinking about doing a peel for a while now but don't know the strength to do. I notice a lot of ladies who do too many chemical peels look like they have "waxy" skin which really scares me. Because of that I've held off on doing any chemical peel. I think I'll use alternatives like laser or dermabrasion before chemical peel.

Go with the low to mid-low strengths. I've never got one but that's what i hear from my mom's friends who ALL are posterchilds for plastic surgery.

I don't think it matters AS much with the first peel, but you get that waxy effect from repeat applications. You see those 60 year old housewives that were trophies back in their day trying to hold on to what they have left so they just go nuts with the peels and get too many and end up looking like they belong in the Hollywood wax museum.

Yeah i just checked again and she said go with the lower strength and dont do too many to avoid the waxiness thing.
