Exclamation peels can thin your skin!

At one point I was getting more peels and using retin A to always keep my skin peeling off and what I thought fresh but I did start to notice that my skin was getting more thin and even losing its elasticity from being dry. Part of the reason young people look young is that there skin is thick and full so I think lasers and moisturizers might be the way to go. I'm not saying a peel every once in a while but it didn't really seem to make my wrinkle better as my skin would be thinner and drier and even if they went away for a bit, it would come back. So just wanted to give you all something to think about. Has anyone else been told to stop getting peels because of this or that it wasn't for them or just noticed it themselves?

yeah I don't even know why people choose Chemical Peels now when there's so many good lasers out there for skin. Hvae you ever heard of lasers thinning out the skin? I haven't and at least with lasers they either work or they don't. You don't hear about them screwing up your skin. I think the light strength chemical skin peels may be OK tho for some people once in a while.

That's what I think - skin laser treatments are the way to go instead of chemical peels. With all the advancements in lasers now and all these new ones out it seems to me peels are perhistoric. The thing is finding the best skin lasers out there for acne scars vs. anti aging etc because theres so many different ones now you just got to make sure you get the one that's right for you. Do you think it matters who does you laser tough? Is there a best doctors or plastic surgeons for skin lasers or is it one of those things if you know how to do it you're the same? I would be curious to know.
