Sorry if this is not in the right category but I had to guess.

I am a very petite healthy skinny girl. But over the past 6 years I've noticed I have strange fatty deposits in my cheeks right near the corners of my mouth. This is something I really want to change. I've never seen or heard of anyone getting this fixed so I figured I'd post on here to see if anyone has any advice.

Please don't say to just deal with it because as I stated above I want to change it. I hate the way I look from a profile angle.

You look like you're pretty young, it may be something that will go away on its own if you are still in your teens.

I know there's buccal fat pad removal but I don't know if that's just under the eyes or if that includes all areas of the face. I don't know what else it could be?

I know I look younger then I am. I'm 21. The older I get the worse/more dramatic it seems to get. It's just so strange to me because I've only seen similar things on people who are overweight.

Don't worry it doesn't mean you are overweight that is genetic. I have been doing some research for a paper I'm writing and I think it's buccal fat pad removal is what you will want to look into. And no the word "fat" in there does not mean you're fat it just refers to the pad. It's similar to how some people need lipo that are skinny in a spot because of genetics. It probably shouldn't be an operation that costs a lot I would guess like 2 to 3k.

I think these will go away as you get older b/c we lose a lot of fat on our faces as we age!
