It sounds like there are very few plastic surgeons that specialize in cheek implants. I know on the west coast who the big names are but I was wondering if there are any top doctors on the east coast, like in New York, that specialize in this? And no, I don't mean that they self-proclaim themselves as experts in the field, but rather those who are known as a leader by the academic community. Any of you East Coasters know?

I lived there for years and I'm not entirely sure who you would go to. Now that I'm on the west coast it's interesting comparing and contrasting the two area. In LA even the doctors seem to be all superficial and who's "best" is more so based on their ability to snake their way onto a reality show or how many ads they can afford to buy to make their name well know. Meanwhile New York plastic surgeons I always remembered to be more real and down to earth. They're not in it for star power they're doing it because they enjoy it and want to do the best job possible.
