hey everyone, i've been considering cheek implants recently as I have always been displeased with the lack of definition in my cheekbones, and recently my lower eyelids have begun sinking, resulting in visible whites when i am not smiling. in general I am displeased with the way my face looks when I smile- it seems lumpy and my jaw is very wide. I have also been considering having my jaw reduced. can someone tell me if they think I would benefit from cheek implants? my goal would be to have higher, more defined cheekbones. i am 22 years old. i have attached a couple photos (eyes are blurred out).Attachment 361
Yes cheek implant could be a good option as it can make flat faces appear more aesthetically pleasing. It can make you look more young looking and energetic. But the thing is..you look just fine, in fact..you are very pretty!
Cheek implants can be helpful for what you describe, though the pic does not really fit the description - your cheeks don't seem flawed at all. That said, it's hard to tell from one picture so what I would suggest is just to make sure you really do your homework (and not just by asking plastic surgeons who want your business) to make sure whatever surgery you pursue is the perfect one for you.

do you think I could benefit from jaw reduction/contouring? I have always been very insecure about the way my lower face looks when I smile, and my jawline is definitely flatter/less defined than I'd like...
Malar Implant Revision
I am looking for a plastic surgeon who has extensive experience revising malar implants. The only one I have found through research is Dr. David Yaremchuk, a craniofacial surgeon out of Massachusetts General. I live in California and it would be a hardship to go to the East coast for this surgery. Does anyone have any knowledge of surgeons with good credentials and experience on the West coast? Thanks so much!
