Dr Palmer = $8000 for malar cheek implants I had posted on here previously and took the advice offered oon here re: cheek implants. I flew to Francis Palmer,MD in L.A. and he said $8200. It seems much higher than the average cost. I wanted to ask him why so much, but was worried. Isn't this a lot more than other surgeons? |
Was that the surgeon's fee alone or did it include operating room costs and anesthesia? As someone that has had malar reconstruction due to trauma that price does not seem unreasonable for this area. Was it for malar or combination malar/submalar implants? |
The price quoted is for microliposction of the cheeks and implants. I didn't notice this |
I would consider that price to be the norm for this area. |

Looking for West Coast plastic surgeon for malar implant revision I am a new member to this site (and hope I am using it properly!) l I am looking for a plastic surgeon who has extensive experience revising malar implants. The only one I have found through research is Dr. David Yaremchuk, a craniofacial surgeon out of Massachusetts General. I live in California and it would be a hardship to go to the East coast for this surgery. Does anyone have any knowledge of surgeons with good credentials and experience on the West coast? Thanks so much! |
