My roommate told me her older sister got cheek implants and they made her eyes look smaller. Is this true? I would like to get cheek implants but I have dark brown eyes that are tiny so I certainly don't want to make them look any smaller. Is there maybe a certain brand or type of cheek implant that does this and the others don't or what?

i've done a lot of digging around since i've been a member of this site and can now self-proclaim myself a cheek implant expert

for real i've learned a lot and from talking with people they say eyes or no eyes... big cheek implants just don't look good! they get worse when you age too b/c you are left with a hollow space under your eyes. after talking with a couple people that had them yeah they said to go with a small or medium size and not some gigantic freakzoid size that will make you look like cher they also said to get natural contoured types that give the appearance of soft tissue around the bone. otherwise you'll just be left with two cheek bones popping out of your skin with no soft edges. i don't know all the different makes and models like i do cars :P but yeah it's safe to say go with smaller sizes. you don't want cheek bones so big that people don't even notice your eyes and instead notice a couple half melons on your cheeks.

Gotchya Her cheek implants don't have soft edges and are too big so I think that must be why. Might have something to do with her not going to a board certified plastic surgeon. She got them done by some doctor she saw in a magazine ad. They are looking better now though not too bad. I'll check around before I get mine. This interview on here with Dr. Palmer sounds like he's perfect but he also sounds like he'd cost a lot for cheek implants.
