I don't feel like consumers are getting enough information on plastic surgeons. Firsthand reports are one thing, but the public really ought to have easier access to PDFs of the court files on these people.

With doctors it seems many of the legal files are sealed or mysteriously disappear. Very disheartening.

Interesting, probably a lot of settlements. On the other hand, any verdicts are public info, and I think there's a good amount of stuff on hand at the L.A. Superior Court.

They are public info, but somehow they "disappear" or are "resolved". L.A. Superior Court as well as many other Superior Courts have tons of records. The odd thing is that somehow many are "inaccessible", and many requests for info get mysteriously denied.

Yeah, some of the documents may be sealed. On the other hand, Lexis-Nexis, the lawyer info system, pulls up a lot of the material on these people. I saw in the Ventura County database that someone tried to assault Terino once, for example, and he sued. The outcomes and stuff are all there.

I looked up Dr. Michael Edwards but I think you have had his license number wrong. The file shows A91508 (you may want to correct that so others know what to look for).

Yeah, possibly due to the multiple states he practiced in, he's associated with two numbers.

Dr. Terino has been removing negative reviews from the Net again, it looks like.
