Cheek augmentation with Radiesse
Would cheek augmentation with Radiesse be an alternative to implants? My cosmetic dermatologist told me it would be a better idea than getting surgery. He wants me to come in next week to get it done. I don't know if he is telling me this because he can do it or if it actually is the best route to go. I have heard about Juvederm being used for cheek augmentation too but it doesn't last as long. Opinions?

Radiesse will add volume to your cheeks, and help if you have hollow areas beneath your eyes. Juvederm can help as well. Remember, fillers are temporary, although cheek implants can be tricky to get right.

Radiesse for cheek augmentation is a bad idea. Radiesse is tiny calcium spheres that are hard and can not be reversed. I have heard about them clumping up and causing problems a long time after it's injected. My doctor first tried Radiesse on me and it didn't look or feel natural.
