Plastic surgery is NOT bad. What about children with cleft palates? People who have burns or disfigurement after an accident or horrible life experience? What about conjoined twins, who need to look somewhat "normal" after being separated? What about people with cancer who lose their noses? Or Susie from LA who is mocked because her nose is huge and/or deformed? Or Ingrid from Germany who can't fulfill her lifelong dream as a swimsuit model because she has small breasts? I can go on and on ...
Plastic surgery is not bad. Body Dysmorphic Disorder, as well as other mental health issues are. When people take it over the top, it is usually due to severe psychological and/or psychiatric issues. I am speaking from my professional background.
Where did you obtain your 90% figure, regarding that plastic surgery is unnecessary? An accurate figure for this result can NEVER be arrived at, as people ELECT to have surgery, as well as at times require to undergo procedures (professionally speaking again).
Harmony is great. I'd love to sit in the grass, eat a big ole handful of granola, and play my violin. Then again, how would this help me if I was an aging supermodel with my roots growing in and a ton of wrinkles, trying to compete with Doutzen Kroes?
Why would you not only visit, but join a plastic surgery site? People on this site have legitimate concerns about their appearances, and luckily, we are still free enough to alter ourselves to OUR image of beauty ... whatever that may be.
