Has anyone else heard Simon Cowell admit he does botox? I think he has confessed. I am a 48 yr old male who needs a face lift/neck lift and am curious what botox can do for me. Should I wait until after I have had surgery or should I do botox first so that maybe we don't need to pull as much skin off and I won't look "wind blown"? I must say, Simon Cowell is an attractive older man and doesn't show signs of a frozen botoxed look so that seems much less scary than a face lift. Do they inject botox differently for men- like just more conservatively?

If you're a 48 year old male it's highly unlikely you need a full face lift. I haven't seen you so there's no way to know for sure but you are a ways off for the average age of men undergoing the procedure. To answer your question about Botox a qualified doctor will inject conservatively on males. This entails going minimal on the forehead so a horizontal wrinkle or two is still present even after. This results in a refreshed, but not surgical, appearance. You need to be clear with your physician about this and make sure he understands. Many doctors will go overboard injecting even on men resulting in a plastic appearance.

I think it's hilarious that Simon Cowell is like 5'6" but he works out like a body builder so he can look big in his arms to try and make up for what he's missing in height. Yeah his face looks good for his age but I just can't stand that guy at all

really? to me simon cowell does look a little too plastic'd out. i don't think it's from surgery just that on tv he always had makeup and hair all perfect and that can give too much of a pretty boy look sometimes. been watching american idol and i would guess he's had botox and i don't see any jowls so i wonder if he had something shot up in those to fill them out? either way plastic'd out or not he is looking good for his age. no ryan seacrest is a whole other story :P
