Heidi Montag is definitely not a role model for children. She is a superficial, hypocritical mediawhore.
She is a reality show "star" who originally tried to present herself as churchgoing, meek, and humble. By now we all know she a psychologically deficient, shallow, and greedy individual. She is famous for ... ummm ... oh yeah, being famous.
Professionally speaking, parents need to stop using the TV as a babysitter and keep the lines of communication open with their children. Just because someone is prevalent in the media (for good or bad reasons), it does not mean they should be revered, idolized, or imitated in any form or fashion.
It is disturbing what this woman has done to "boost her self esteem". Mental health examinations prior to plastic surgery should be mandatory. Seeing an accredited mental health professional would've been a better decision, however, we are discussing Heidi Montag. Going to a shrink would not have given her as much publicity. That's probably why she did all of this extreme surgery to begin with.
