Brazilian Butt Lift
Brazilian butt lift - How is this different from a regular butt lift?
Brazilian butt lift is different in the way the procedure is performed. There are several ways to improve the appearance of the buttock and gluteal regions. In the past, surgeons have used butt implants (regular butt lift), which are solid firm silicone pieces. These implants carried the risk of extrusion (coming out of the incision), infection, and displacement. Also, depending on how they were inserted, they could affect the muscles of the butt, as well.
A Brazilian butt lift is a cosmetic surgery procedure that uses liposuction to harvest fat from your arms, legs, back and/or abdomen. The fat is then injected into your buttocks with a series of injections to create a shapelier and rounded butt.
A Brazilian Butt lift is a buttock augmentation with fat injection
A Regular butt lift can is a buttock augmentation with implants
However for people who had a significant weight loss (or after a lab band or gastric by pass surgery) a butt lift can also be done with a scars on the lower back and upper buttocks is because that is often the most effective way to improve the appearance of the "region in question" to remove excess fat, tissue and skin to lift a sagging buttock.
Interestingly, the original procedure left the incision at the fold of the buttock/upper thigh.
That works, too, but over time the scar can pull down and you lose some of the result.
The more common way to do things now is with the higher incision; that seems to be more effective and last longer. The incision is made from hipbone to hipbone on the back. The skin and fat is then separated from the underlying structures.
Once the amount of excess is determined, the extra skin and fat are removed. Before stitching the incision, a temporary tube is inserted to drain excess fluid from the surgical site. After the incisions are closed, gauze and an elastic compression bandage are applied for comfort and to minimize bruising and swelling.

Bye-bye Kelly, which I'm sure isn't your real name!
I disagree, optuskeli. Squats and lunges can help to enhance the gluteous maximus muscles. It's nothing like a butt lift, but it can (and will) help.
On December 2010 I performed a rhinoplasty, breast implants surgery along with a liposuction and a Brazilian butt lift (buttock augmentation with through injection).. Immediately after my surgery I experienced an huge improved body image, self esteem and the freedom to wear clothes I had avoided in the past.
I made this decision when I turned 33 and was convinced to do so in order to feel better about myself about simple things like clothing and to even out my figure. It was not done to impress men, but for me. It was the best decision I have ever made.
My nose job, liposuction and buttock augmentation outcomes are amazing, the surgery wasn’t painful… uncomfortable for 10 days but not painful ,,with the proper care and direction-following, it's a seamless recovery.
For the buttock surgery, my surgeon explained me he has removed any extra fat on the side above and below the buttocks to create better curves and make a my butt lift seem more round and extra shapely. The results are very good.
However for my breast I still am not the size I would like to be, but my doctor did a wonderful job in explaining how my body will adjust and change as time goes on. To this day I still get compliments and I still feel great about myself. I like the way I can wear dresses now.
... Robyne00 i am sorry but I had my surgery done in Bolivia with M.T the company you LOVE ;) no use to mention it this is not the most important, but I can guarantee that is a good medical group and very honest person.
I just decided to go there for my surgery because it was MUCH cheaper,, I paid $7,000 for my al procedures including the surgery, hotel staying for 12 days, hospital stay, transportation, blood test, bilingual assistant.. Imagine! and tell me if it's not a good deal?
Robyne, I know you don't like when someone talks too much about a dr. or worst about a medical operator but you know there are many people in the US who can't afford a surgery because it's too expensive but they really really need it,, and in my opinion I think it can be something good to talk about our experience... and in case it was good experience, with honest people, good plastic surgeons, and wonderful staff , it can help many people to know where we have performed our surgery. This is just my point of view and I tell you that because I paid $7,000 for my surgery in Bolivia whereas in the US I met 4 plastic surgeons and they all quoted me between $15,000 and $20,000,
…I am looking forward to my next appointment in the future ,, next year I think to add to the goal I originally had.
I wish the best for anyone taking this step foward. It has changed my life for the better. It makes me feel so great about myself.
