is there any good exercise to do that will lift the butt? any recommendations? i'm 38 and trying to avoid a butt lift for at least 5 more years :D |
I've heard the best sports for toning the butt is rollerblading and cycling. But if you're like me that's just not gonna work lol |
I would think just about any good exercises the work your gluts should do the job. |
I have a bad knee so I can't do a whole lot. How about exercises that aren't so intense (the day I can rollerblade will be the day hell freezes over) is there anything low resistance that works just as good? |

*UPDATE* this is what my friend who's a trainer told me is a good squat for your butt- With small weights between 10 and 20 lbs in your hands, put your body weight in your heels, not the toes, and squeeze your butt to stand up straight and repeat. He said for safety avoid bending at your lower back when you go down and make sure not to slump forward. Also make sure you flatten your shoulder blades to your back while you do throughout the whole thing. |

Hi there! the best exercise is deep squats with heavy weights. also deep lunges. Both are tough but to build up the volume in the butt you have to fill out the muscles. These exercises are also tough on knees |
I had NO butt until I started squatting (below parallel), and dead lifting. Straight leg dead lifts target more the butt and bent leg target more lower back. glute ham raises are good for assistant exercises too |
