| | Adhesions after reduction
My wife had a breast reduction a few months ago; we encountered some significant complications that required a debridement surgery on one breast.
Now that there breasts have started to heal she is having to deal with scar tissue / adhesions. The plastic surgeon has told my wife to massage the area throughout the day and also suggested that we purchase an ultrasonic massage unit to assist in breaking up this scar tissue. She wants my wife to use that multiple times throughout the day.
My wife works and doesn't have the time, or opportunities throughout her day, to use this ultrasonic unit or to massage her breasts. Does anyone have any other suggestions or, will performing these things once or twice a day provide any benefit or does she need to do it 4-5 times as suggested?
My wife is putting up a good front and trying to remain upbeat and positive but, I know she is dealing with some big time regret. One breast is smaller than the other due to the additional debridement surgery and the other breast is smaller than she had hoped for. Couple all of that with the fact that she lost one nipple as a result of the complication and the significant scar tissue she now has and she wishes she could go back and have her old breasts back.
I feel completely helpless which is why I have come here with the hope that someone can help her find some relief in dealing with the scar tissue; at least.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
