| Not sure if this is what I want I'm eighteen years old and I have hard large breasts (38D, almost DD) since I was 12ish. They have never been perky, always a bit saggy since I virtually grew them over night.
By saying "nut sure if this is what I want", I mean procedure type. I want a smaller (a full C cup would be preferable) and perkier chest. Is a breast reduction and breast lift the right way to go about that?
Also, I need some help in finding a reputable doctor around my area. I live in Arizona (bounce back and forth between Tucson and Phoenix because of family and school, so anywhere in there is good). If anyone could help me in my 'decision' (I know it won't be final until I talk to a doctor about my specific case) and help me find someone locally, that would be great.
Oh, price. How much do these surgeries usually run? Like I mentioned, I'm eighteen and in college so money is ALWAYS an issue, but I don't have a problem getting a loan as long as it isn't too much.
Thanks in advance. |

| Welcome to the forum!
In order to make your breasts smaller you will need reduction surgery, but as far as a lift too, you may not need one (sometimes just removing the extra breast tissue improves the sagging, especially for someone as young as yourself).
You said paying for them might be a problem, do you have any back pain from them? Sometimes insurance will pay for breast reduction if you are normal weight and have breasts which are too large, causing your back pain. As you can guess, insurance is pretty darn cheap now so it's always a challenge for them to pay
As far as the surgeons go, I don't know any in your area I would feel comfortable recommending, but I'm sure another member on here, Robyne, will know of some good ones |

| Welcome!!!
You will need a reduction, and probably a lift. On average reduction surgery costs between $5,000- $7,000. Anesthesia, hospital/OR fees, and surgeon fees are extra. A breast lift costs between $3,500 to $6,000 plus the extras I mentioned above. If you get both done at the same time, you can probably get a discount.
Insurance may cover all (rare) or a portion of the cost of the surgery if you have medical history and detailed documentation indicating a medical need for the reduction. The lift would not be covered.
PS loans/PS creidt cards can be hard to get and when you do the interest is often astronomical.
la_angel is right (again)!!! PM me for recommendations in your area.

| Are you sure you want to do the surgery? In some cases, breasts do get smaller when you also lose weight. |

| I was your age and in your shoes when I had mine done. It changed my life. I lost a lot of weight because I could exercise in a way I never could before. Flash forward 20 years. I went from a C cup to an A cup, and now I'm considering augmentation surgery. Go figure. I would not however, in a million years, take back my reduction. If you could get to San Diego I would recommend Dr Wendell Smoot. He did mine and he is outstanding. If I get implants I'm going to him. |

| I'm late on the draw, but great comment, la_angel.

And what methods did you use to reduce your weight. I hope you don't mind me asking all these questions. This is the first time I have heard that loosing some pounds can also reduce the size of one's breasts. |

| I list pricing on my site. The reduction cost depends, but a breast lift starts at $4300 at my clinic. |
