| Scottsdale Breast Implants. Need to know who's best? Hi I live in Scottsdale, AZ and am newer to plastic surgery. I'm pretty sure I want breast implants but am unsure of which doctor I should go with. I have done some Googling but most of the resources I see all have ulterior motives because they have plastic surgeons that are sponsored answering questions and giving advice. I came to this breast implant forum because I want to hear from real people instead.
I have decided I will want to do transambilical breast implants because I won't want to have scars. Are there females here that can refer me to a Scottsdale breast implants doctor that can do this type and not charge too much? |

| The point about "not charging too much" is important, but at the same time it doesn't mean you should go for a bargain basement plastic surgeon. I'm sure you could breast implants for dirt cheap in Mexico, but it doesn't mean you should go there!
I don't live anywhere around Scottsdale nor do I know anyone that lives there but from what I know about the area, it sounds like plastic surgery is a booming industry in your city, so the odds of finding a qualified surgeon in Scottsdale/Phoenix should be fairly good |

| Always remember the old adage "You get what you pay for".
There are some disadvantages to transumbilical breast augmentation. It is stated quite eloquently from the site Breast Augmentation | Breast Implants | Breast Augmentation Surgeons | Breast Implant Surgery. Read on:
"There are disadvantages to all incisions, and TUBA is no exception. First, it can be somewhat difficult to find a surgeon that is skilled and experienced with this procedure. If you want partial sub-muscular placement, you will have an even more difficult time. If there are problems with the placement of the implants via the navel incision, it's likely that another incision will need to be used, commonly the areola or crease incision. When using the TUBA method, the surgeon will be working quite a distance from the breast, which means less control."
I know several excellent surgeons, some who use TUBA and others who do not, but they are out of your area. Are you willing to travel for excellent results?

| Hi,
10 days ago I had breast implants with Dr. Robert Cohen in Scottsdale and love the results so far.
Originally I was thinking of booking with Dr. David E Kim in Beverly Hills (I traveled to see him from New Mexico), but then I came across Dr. Cohen's name on a breast implant forum (was doing additional research on Dr. Kim ). I checked his website pics, which in my opinion were fantastic, I check reviews on ratemds.com and decided becauase all were good I decided to see him for a consult; he was only about 7 hours away. After the consult I called my husband and told him I was going to book.
I booked with him for the following reasons; the consult was not rushed, he answered all my questions, was polite and listened well, really seemed to know the look I wanted, his before and after pics were great, and his staff was very helpful. I felt I could trust him for a great result. NOTE: He takes pictures at the consult....which surprised me.
If you want to know more PM me. |

| Many docs take pics @ the consult, so if they end up doing your operation, the B & A's can be compared.
