Can someone please explain why we are constantly being accused for advertising for our doctor? I just donít get it. When you like you hair/nail lady, tanning salon, dentist or tax person, you seem to tell everyone or you get complements and you share your experience. So in this case, this is the same thing. We all have a command ground, we are seeking to change something about ourselves and we need help in doing so. So, what is the big deal. Some of us have gone to the same plastic surgeon and all are happy.. Why does it have to be a form of advertisement! Why canít it be we are suggesting a great doctor. If any of you have gone on a consultation to meet with Dr. Pousti you would see exactly what we are all talking about! Iím sure you all have suggested something like Iíve mention above to someone in your lifeÖ
So what are we doing that is so wrong?

Btw, when you Google anythingÖ. Everything comes yup!!!

On another note, almost two years out of augmentation surgery and I still love my results!!

Hey momrocks! Why are you getting mad about this? I am doing my research for a while now on Dr. Pousti and some other docs I am interested in. What I have noticed so far is that there are a lot boards with a lot of posts where a lot of newbies just posted exactly one time that Dr. Pousti is the best doc ever. A lot of these posts I can repeatly find everywhere. So someone was registering at every board out there and posting about Dr. Pousti. I also did not find anything negative about him anywhere. Except for two boards. One post at one board was that negative reviews about him have been removed and on the other board a woman said the anesthetics didn't work and she felt the cut and is not satisfied with the results eigther, although she thinks Dr. Pousti is a very warm person.
So in my case, no matter what other people write, I like the pictures of his work. I just need to figure out which posts are real and which are just posted by his staff. Because I really think he and his staff do a lot posting and advertising on a lot of boards. In general, it is always suspicious not only to me, if there is just a one time post of a new member, no response to questions afterwards and also no personal before and after pictures of the new member. I don't think that every great post about him is fake, I think he really has a lot patients that are very happy with the results. As I said, I also like the pictures and so far he seems a good doctor for what I want to have done. But I also think that there is a lot of advertisement involved that is not really "real" for whatever reason.
And you need to agree with me> the over the top advertisement here from uptownbrown0413, does not really seem real, does it? "YOUR NEW BODY IS WAITING!!!! ; + ). DON'T LOOK ANY FURTHER YOU HAVE FOUND THE BEST DOCTOR!!!!! " Come on! I don"t think any real person no matter how happy she or he is with the results would write stuff like that. Simply because Dr. Pousti is not the best doctor for everything and every person in the world. No doctor in the world can be perfect at everything.

I can tell you first hand I am a “real” patient and I am very happy with my results. I don’t post on here much because anything I write I feel like its always on attack mode as you can read in above posts. I can see what you are talking about to a point. Maybe the above poster is just extremely happy with her results, I think she mentioned she is finally in a bikini after so many years and feeling confident. As a women, I think that’s huge and I would probably be bragging on my doctor too, who helped with the extra confidence booster. So have you been on a consult with Dr. Pousti? Because if you have I’m sure you were given the same opportunity as I was. I was able to meet several of his patients, talk with them in private. (no nurses, medical assistance or doctor in the room) Each and everyone had numerous positive thing to say about their experience with Dr. Pousti. I can tell you I went on other consultation with several doctors here in So. California and not once did I have that type of experience. So I do agree that he is the best. Granted everyone has their own opinion, this is mine.
I just don’t think its necessary for patients to be judged or accused of advertising for a great doctor!

On my last note, I had a few pictures on here. showing his work and all are gone besides one??? I find that to be a little fishy.

Talking Dr. Pousti Mommy Makeover

After many years of dressing to hide my body and three children later my dream came true at 36! I'm a San Diego, CA patient that had a extended tummy tuck, breast lift, breast augmentation and multiple lipo places = (Mommy Makeover). Words can not express the gratitude and Joy I have back in my life. To be able to be active with your kids and have confidence in how you look is just simply AMAZING!!! To hear your children tell you "Mom your so skinny"....well it's just awesome!!!! when you use to be so embarrassed on how you looked! Starting with my first consult visit I wanted to be prepared as possible and not waste my time or the doctors. I had a list of questions written down to ask. I had done all my research on Dr. Pousti before even coming in. I felt confident after meeting with him, he would be my surgeon! Not only is he board certified in Plastic Surgery but he specializes in reconstructive plastic surgery as well. (If you haven't take a look on line at all the procedures he does before/after- that's all you need to see!) Dr. Pousti took his time and answered my entire page of questions with out making me feel rushed or that any small question was insignificant. I was very impressed while visiting during my consultation that I not only got to see pictures of recent patients but he personally brought in patient that where there for follow up for my same procedures, so I could talk to them and look at there body...IMPRESSIVE!!!! I've never heard of a doctor doing that! I had originally came in with suggestions/desires of what I would like done. Dr Pousti quickly made his professional suggestions/concerns to what would be best for me. Rather than attempting to do something that would turn out undesirable just for the money. Dr. Pousti has been 110%accurate on EVERYTHING he has told or done for me. I'm so excited about my new body! I tell strangers while shopping at the mall how "WONDERFUL of work he does...I wouldn't let anyone else touch me." My suggestion to anyone that is looking for a plastic surgeon would be to STOP LOOKING!!- You have found the BEST!!! Between myself and friend(pousti patient as well) have done 2 YEARS research and consults from various doctors around the U.S. Dr. Pousti and his staff and all the way down to the surgery center staff that assist him is FIRST CLASS ALL THE WAY!!!! They are so thoughtful and caring and always take anything you say to the up most importance. I as a patient wouldld be more than happy to personally speak to anyone that is considering any procedure done by Dr. Pousti. Follow all his recommendations and you'll be all you could have dreamed for and more. I worked very hard in the gym and with weight doctors before having my surgery even though at that point I was still very over weight. I wanted to get as much weight off as possible for optimal results. But once you have these procedures done- it's up to you to put the effort it will take to stay that way! Change your eating habits and join the gym or just stay active. I feel so SEXY NOW!!!! My husband tells me daily how sexy I am now. Even though he loved me before he says "Your so HOT now."...LOL...A little spice never hurts any relationship! This is a life changing event try to prepare yourself and your family for the recovery time as well. Be as prepared as possible. I HIGHLY SUGGEST if it's in your budget to the 24 hr after care Dr. Pousti suggest for at least 2-3 days. It was so helpful to my husband and mother-in-law in knowing how to care for me and also took the nervousness off them during the first crutual hours of recovery. Why spend al that money and not have the after care those first few crutual days. It was so helpful to us. Because the first three days were a blurr to me. Yes you can read all the testimonals but myself and his patients are the proof of his artistry and quality of work. But the actual surgery (6hrs) is a breeze. It's once you get home is where the work begins. Take all your meds as they instruct you too! Even if you don't hurt. It will keep you from getting to that pain that is intolerable. Take your stool softners no matter what. Remember you have to sleep sitting up and pillows all around you. So my family decided to rent a hospital bed and hospital tray and walker to make recovery easier on me...I'm so glad I did! The hospital bed allows you to change positions with the ease of a button. My only suggestion is get a memory foam pad to put on top of the rental because they are the lower grade beds when you rent. We used Eric Medical Supply in San Diego and they deliver/setup/took down and everything. Lots of pillows and do your breathing/flexing your feet. But with my pain pump and meds I was pretty much pain free. But even though you feel well DON'T PUSH IT- it's the meds talking and you don't want to injure yourself because you do to much to soon! Just TRUST your in the BEST hands possible. Dr. Pousti and his staff will follow up/call you frequently. I's not all about the money and were done with you. They geniunely care. As my saying goes to Dr. Pousti that was wrote by someone I found is ::: An old man walked up shore littered with thousands of starfish, beached and dying after a storm. A young man was picking them up and flingling them back into the ocean. "Why do you bother?" the old man scoffed "You not saving enough to make a difference." The young man picked up another starfish and sent it spinning back in the water. "Made a difference to that one." he said. So I say to Dr. Pousti/staff "YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE EVERYDAY!" YOU FOUND MY STARFISH.....Much appreciation and thanks, L Brown, San Diego, CA

Default Recent patient

Any woman contemplating a breast augmentation knows that it takes a lot of time, thought and research to find the right doctor. In the very first five minutes of my consultation, I knew I chose the right doctor. The staff is so enthusiastic and helpful. I swear I have never seen so many breasts in one sitting but it was nice to have a live example on what great work Dr. Pousti does. Dr. Pousti is a doctor who will never sell you into something you don't need. He will listen to all of your needs and tell you the truth if your expectations can be met. Before my surgery, during my surgery and after my surgery, the staff and Dr. Pousti were amazing and extremely professional. I got a call every day to see how I was coping and if I needed anything. I am 6 weeks post op from my breast augmentation and liposuction and I LOVE my new body. I fit in my clothing better and I am so much more proportional... Not to mention all the double takes I receive! I had a few friends who went to cheaper plastic surgeons and I'm so glad I chose Dr. Pousti because my breasts look real and natural! I would recommend him whole-heartedly to any woman who needs a change and wants a beautiful body.

Dr. Pousti, I hear only good things about him and yes he does large implants as well. As well as my ps. He has never told me how many cc's he thinks I should get. He performs all surgical procedures and provides your postoperative care with the support of a highly trained staff for surgical assistance, nursing care, anesthesia and recovery.
