Unhappy Do breast implants take time to "settle" before they are perky?

I had a breast augmentation 5 weeks ago (Dec 21) and I'm satisfied so far however they just aren't as "perky" as I had thought they would be. The surgeon said to wait 3 months because they need to "settle in" and when they do they will sink deeper and push the nipples up. I haven't seen this happen so I'm getting worried, does anyone know anything about this phenomenon?

Well this is what Dr. April Armstrong said on ABC news

Quote:
"The breast area is usually too swollen during the first two months after the surgery to tell what the final breast size will be," said Jeneby. "The swelling goes down after that period, and patients can see if they are satisfied with their sizes."

Mine stayed swolled I'd say a little bit up to 4 or 5 months. All plastic surgery (including a boob job) takes time to show the final result.
