Would you still get breast implants knowing what you know now?

I had surgery 10 days ago and my doctor said I can go back to work no problem. In a couple more weeks I'll be able to light exercises again so all is according to plan.

I asked the doctor literally a 1000 questions beforehand, but the one I didn't ask him was about adjusting. Right now they feel tight and pain from that pressure.

My friend that had implants 20 years ago told me it's normal and that it will pass. She never had any regrets of getting her breast augmentation.

I'm curious ladies and gentlewomen, knowing what you know now, would you still have gotten implants? Do you still think it's worth it?

My only regret is silicone implants were not available when I had my operation. Now that the FDA allows them again I would get those if I had to do it over. From what I know those last your entire life. Then again their safety question still lingers...

I had mine 13 years ago and I would still get implants I just wish all the modern marvels of medicine were around back then. Now they can do them through the belly button?! That's amazing! When I get mine replaced I'm going to get that method if I can afford it.

I most certainly would have used the transambilical breast augmentation method instead if it was around back then. Other than that I have no regrets.

As per 2005 analytical ratio, more than 360,000 women and teenagers underwent surgery to have their breasts enlarged with silicone or saline implants, and experts estimate that about 46,000 breast cancer patients had implant surgery after mastectomy. The popularity of breast augmentation has more than tripled since 1997, when there were just over 101,000 of these procedures.

With every plastic surgery, there involves risks. Each patient should really be aware of that. But I guess its the will to improve and enhance ourselves that made us decide to do the surgery (aside from medical reasons, of course). Another factor also could be is the affordable plastic surgery abroad. Most middle class or even lower class citizens see this as a good opportunity. Imagine getting a high quality plastic surgery at a very low cost compared to the US...:)
