Default do different methods of insertation change price?

I know there are several ways of putting the saline implants in the body so I was wondering if it costs more to insert them through the belly button? To me that seems like the best method since there wouldn't be scars in any obvious places.

Yeah from what I know. The easiest method (cutting under the breasts) usually tends to be done by much more doctors so it's cheaper. I've found the transumbilical breast augmentation is done by less doctors since it's a newer method. I was just reading up on it and it said "invented in 1991 by a Houston surgeon Dr. Gerald W. Johnson." So it's pretty new and hey who ever said America lost our inventive spirit? He proves we didn't

Do they still do the cutting under the breasts? I don't understand why any doctor would still use that method when there's other techniques that hide scars. Maybe the belly button way isn't easy, but what about the armpits? That can't be too hard.

Oh yeah, big time!! The easiest are the incisions under the breasts which just about any ol' doctor will do. Those "cheapie" ads you may see for breast implants for $2999 or something usually use this method - LEAVES VISIBLE SCARS!! The next method "up" is inserting them through the armpits. The method even better than that is cutting along the nipple to insert them so the scar is hidden. The best method in my opinion is the TUBA breast implants or trans-umbillical method which involves endoscopic surgery through the belly button to insert the implants. This is the most expensive method.

I know TUBA breast implants can be as high as 2-3x the price of normal.

Thanks everyone for your answers. I've decided TUBA breast implants are the best even if they are more since you don't have an scars.

FYI - my plastic surgeon told me that if something goes wrong with the implant like a leak or rupture the manufacturers WiLL NOT cover the breast implants if they were inserted using the umbilical method. He said the reason for this was most likely because when they're inserted through the belly button theres more pulling and squeezing on the implants with the instruments to get it through a tiny hole, up through your abdomen and to your breasts. The manufacturers don't wanna cover it for this reason because they think it's more risky and prone to being damaged while it is put in. He told me the armpit method is best and a good surgeon will only make an incision 1.5 inches long. I don't think that's bad at all since that's hidden under your armpits.
