Thailand breast implants? has anyone gone to Thailand to have breast augmentation? the prices are so much cheaper than in Australia. ive researched the doctors and found that they actually have more schooling than the doctors in Australia and are all certified. I wanted to know if anyone on here has had any work done there as im seriosly considering work. $20,000 over here for a breast lift and implant versus $6000 over there including a 14 day holiday flights and accomodation all inclusive. Sounded to good to be true, but then when you compare the cost of everything over there to AUD prices, everything is cheaper. Just wanna make sure im not making the wrong decision. |
Medical tourism is a huge industry. Here in the US, people are going to Costa Rico, and other areas in South America. You have to do a lot of research on the doctor and clinic. My fear would be, what happens if you have a complication? It can happen anywhere, even in the best circumstances. You can't really go back to the doctor once you've come home. I don't know, it's a tough decision. |

breast implants i would only get my procedures done in the USA. i don't think going abroad is worth it! it's too scary. what if something goes wrong? i don't even know what i would do |
I have had a couple of friends who have just returned to Australia after under going Breast Augmentation surgery in Thailand. I know they both went through a medical tourism company lotus medical international. They were both extremely thrilled with the end result and the service they received pre and post op. She told me the surgeon and staff at the hospital were very professional and all internationally accredited and qualified (which is great and important for me to know with making my decision to under go breast implants over in Thailand). I know people who have gone through other medical tourism companies in Thailand and they secured there bookings & surgery through them however, once they arrived were left to their own devices and were dissatisfied with the lack of support pre & post op. My friends who went through lotus medical international said they received complete support and on call (english speaking) care as soon as they arrived in the Thailand which is extremely important for me to know. I think they roughly paid around $3000 AUD for their surgery. |

I am also working for a medical tourism in Korea too.. We provide concierge services for our clients. As you know Korea is very well-known for its plasic surgery. I'd say the cost may be more than Thailand but I am sure the surgery skills will be much better here. If you want, we can arrange consultation at 3~4 hospitals before your surgery so that you can have different opinions from the doctors and decide which hospital you wish to have your surgery. If you have any concerns or questions feel free to E-mail me yinzhen2000@gmail.com |
