is this some kind of a joke? someone i know in Switzerland claims to have gotten breast implants that contain soybean oil back in 1994. SOYBEAN OIL yeah right I've never heard of this. i could only find one thing on them and it said since soybean oil is less dense than saline they work better in mammograms. then she said something about them being recalled later on. i come from a family that had a breast cancer sufferer so anything safer is gravy in my book but are they real? i laughed thinking it was a joke but she claimed they've been using them in europe for a while. do anyone of you know anything about breast implants made with soybean oil or was someone just yanking my chain? this is driving me nuts i need to know thanks.

It's true! Soybean oil breast implants or trilucent breast implant were just an experimental thing and still aren't available in the US yet! They say they look and feel more natural and if they leak it's not dangerous like silicone since it's just vegetable oil, but I'm not sure how healthy that is running through your arteries either! There were some rumors a while back that Tara Reid breast implants are soybean oil but that was just gossip so who knows? Anyway I know the last time they did trials on them were in the 90s so I'm not sure what's up with them. If you really want to get them go to the other side of the pond I think they're doing them over there right now but don't quote me on that.

Yes I definitely heard about them but never have known any doctor who does them. I doubt they still exist because I can't even find the maker of them. With other implants you can find the company and they have a website. I'd rather use saline though because it can't be good for you to have soybean oil leaking in u.
