Default I'm scheduled for submuscular saline implants in less than 3 weeks! Any advice?

I'm so excited and nervous about getting implants finally. I've been thinking about if for years, done alot of research, and have found a board certified plastic surgeon that I trust and that specializes in breast implants.

Can anyone that has had breast implants give me any advice or information on how i'll feel afterwards? Like, how long until I feel back to normal? And is it a good idea to let the doctor make the final decision during surgery about what size would look most natural? (I'm 5'7", medium frame, 130 lbs, and currently a 34A.) I'm thinking about going with about 400cc, submuscular, saline moderate profile.

Hi Julia,

Good for you that you have finally decided to go on breast implants. With me I am still afraid of undergoing this surgery. My prayer is for you.

I have submuscular saline implants too I can't remember how many CC's I have.. but I went from a 32A to a 34C. I was worried about them looking to big, but trust me they won't. You get used to them REALLY fast. I kind of wish I went bigger. Fake boobs always look smaller than natural boobs. Make sure to wax your armpits before surgery!! It is practically impossible to shave them afterwards. It is seriously the one piece of advice I wish someone told me.

Messege me if you wanna know any thing else, hope this helps!

Julia, I got my implants about 6 weeks ago. I was a 36b and now a 36d with 420cc's. I am 5 foot 6 and 135 lbs and it looks natural. I kinda wish I had gone bigger, until I put on a bra. lol then then look fabulous. They look great without but with the support of a bra, it's great. As far as recovery, I didn't have any problems. I came home and just had a headache and some pressure in my chest but I never experienced any actual pain. I'm more than sure, you'll have an easy recovery too. I think the only discomfort I felt was trying to flush the toilet. As crazy as it sounds, I had trouble reaching for it because of the incisions under each arm and also trying to not flex the muscles in my arm or chest. Just do everything slowly. Your first meal after waking up from anesthesia should be light too. Try some broth or something. I hope this helps!
