Help I don't know what's goign on! 5 weeks ago I had implants along with a lift. Me and my husband and I haven't had sex yet and I'm afraid because my nipples are totally whacky since surgery, one of them is almost normal now and the other is still really numb. Is this normal to have one nipple heal differently from the other? Is it safe to have sex with this little problem? If I do have sex I wonder what it's going to feel like having one breast sensitive and the other not. I don't even know if I'll be satisfied because my nipples are a big stimulation for us when we do it. Help!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but my plastic surgeon told me it can take up to a year for the sensitivity to be normal on the nipple Not saying it will but it is possible Usually it doesn't take anywhere near the long and every week that goes by will be a week it's improved so try and look at it that way. Yeah I know it's like me telling you to force a cheesy smile by saying that but it is true. Ask you're doctor he might know better sometimes feeling is back to normal after just several weeks.

i dont know about breasts but i know with other body parts when the nerves are stretched they say up to a year but usually feeling is mostly normal after 6 months. what technique did they use for your implants? did they cut around the nipples? i know when they do surgery by cutting around the nipples obviously they'll be affected more over a different method that doesnt cut there, but it should return back to normal. so u say one is worse than the other? im guessing that's bec a nerve was pulled more on breast then the other, but dont worry stretched nerves usually return to normal tool.

Update: My husband and I have resolved the sexual dilemma He's just learned to compensate in other ways while my breast recovers. You what they say- if you're lacking in one area make up for it in another. He has definitely done that!

I actually have a friend that was having sex --get this-- the SAME DAY she had breast augmentation. I kid you not. She's a little bit of a nympho though and it was with her boyfriend.
