Default P.S. recommended High Profile Silcone for me--need advice...

So I just had my first consult w/ a plastic surgeon, and he recommended high profile silicone for me. But I'm scared, because of all the bad things I've read on this forum about high profile implants looking very fake! I'm 31 yrs old, 5' 7" and 130 lbs. Medium build, currently a 34A. (My breasts shrank 2 cup sizes from pregnancies and breast feeding). After measuring and evaluating me, the PS recommended high profile silicone, up to 400cc, under the muscle, and with an incision under my breast. Does this sound reasonable? I'm thinking about going for 375cc, because I want them to look more natural. He said I would benefit most from high profile silicone because I don't have alot of fat on the side of my breast, and with saline, he said you'd be able to see the side of the implant. I just want a natural and full look, and to be a C up again. Any advice, or do you have and experience with high profile silicone?

High profile silicone is good for volume enhancement with a smaller diameter implant, however, they usually do not appear natural. Some surgeons swear by them. Placement is of crucial importance. Shifting can occur as well, leading to undesirable results.

If you do not have a lot of fat, don't go too big. That's key. 400 ccs sounds aggressive for your measurements. Under the muscle is the way to go.

Hope this helps!!!
