This is very alarming.

The worst part is that many patients probably wouldn't remember this brand, even if that's what was used on them. It's the doctor's responsibility to notify patients, but I bet some won't try to hard to do that.

The patient customarily receives a card post-op, identifying the brand and amount of cc's each implant contains. Sadly, due to the excitement of receiving implants, the cards often get tossed to the wayside and size and brand remain unknown.
