Plastic Surgeons for Breast Implants in Chicago?

I'm looking for top plastic surgeons in or near Chicago. I'm about 5'4" and pretty petite. My waist is 26 inches and my hips are 37 inches, but I'm only a 32b. I just want to be proportionate. If you know of any doctors in my area I'd greatly appreciate it.

I see 32b, not 32lb:confused:

Well how much larger were you thinking of going? I agree the a slight increase could help you have better proportions. However I wouldn't go much bigger since you are only 5'4" and petite (32 pounds is very petite :p). For your body type I would definitely recommend going with under the muscle breast implants. Over the muscle almost never work on petite bodies (and I don't think they work very well on any body).

As far as your surgeon choices, are there any plastic surgeons in Chicago you are already considering? Unfortunately I do not know many plastic surgeons there, and the ones I've heard about I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending, since I don't know enough about their work IMO.

I'm a full 32B right now. I want to go up to a small 32D. I weigh about 115, but I look smaller. Are saline or silicon better (as in more natural feeling and looking)?

Saline feels and looks more natural, but saline lasts longer. They both have to be replaced in time. Despite the reapproval of silicone, I wouldn't want one of those rupturing inside my body, vs. saline.

Dani, I used Dr. Tcheupdjian (I actually had to look his name up for the spelling..it's a crazy one!) for my breast aug about 13 years ago. I've had zero problems, so I have to say he is pretty good. Most people will tell you they need to be replaced 10 years, but I wouldn't be surprised if these last another 20. I can't recall the name, but can search for the "device" card of you like. They are saline textured that much I know. I went up two sizes. I think he used about 300cc in each one? The funny thing..my husband doesn't even know I have implants! I keep telling myself I'm going to tell him one day, but I think he might accuse me of false advertising. :D

Anyway, really happy with Dr. T..he is mainly the goto guy for lipo, but I had a friend that used him and was pleased.

ETA- they were also placed under the muscle. Also, they looked like bolt ons for a very long time, just to warn you. They didn't look 100% natural (drooped a bit) for about 5 years.

Your husband doesn't know you have implants, cleopatra?!?! They must look really natural! It is kinda false advertising though. :(

Under the muscle placement does not lead to implants looking like bolt ons. Bolted on breasts are due to using an implant that is way too large, not enough skin, capsular contracture, or inappropriate placement.

You said "They didn't look 100% natural (drooped a bit) for about 5 years." Natural breasts droop, and five years seems awfully long for breasts to settle. If they were drooping post-op, did you get a lift to correct them?

I know! That's why I just can't get the courage to tell him..I mean..when we met I wasn't like Oh btw they are fake! You know? LOL

I think them being under definitely helps them to feel natural, maybe he just never felt fakes before idk. Mine did look like bolt ons, it was horrible. They were so shiny looking every time I wore a bikini. Granted, I had almost zero breast tissue, I was a 34A sometimes barely that. I went to a 34C. I have not had a lift as they look completely natural finally. If I had a lift they would go back to looking like bolt ons.

here's the before and afters so you can see what I'm trying to say with me being tiny before. The after notice the left side (my right) where shoulder is back..the way that side looks there is about what it looked like all the time after and SHINY.

The after was taken around 6 years ago. I think they are pretty similar, I had an associate at VS measure me late last year claiming I'm now 34D. /shrugs
