| It may be "safer" since there is not a foreign substance (like plastic or silicone) but the real danger with fat injection breast augmentation is the way they look. You wouldn't want lumpy and uneven breasts, would you? |

| Well, just about any surgery can affect sensitivity. but it *should* come back as long as a nerve wasn't damaged. I guess we will have to wait and see some reviews of this to find out! |

| There is more sensitivity with fat vs. implants, which are obviously a foreign substance, therefore, the comparison is very easy to explain.

| Breast Augmentation with Fat Grafting Well ladies, I just had fat grafting to my breasts last week and so far they look great! I am aware that I will be loosing some of the fat because it will be reabsorbed. As for the lumpiness, my surgeon said that I should gently massage them multiple times a day.
I also had a TT and lipo on the flanks. I had a lot of fat in my midsection however my breasts dwinddled down to an AA. They used to be an A however after having my son 17 years ago and now that I'm 49, they deflated. The rest of my figure is good. I'm 5' 1" and 107 pounds. The fat grafting will only add 1 to 1.5 cups which was all I wanted. I only wanted them "refilled". So right now I'm a small B cup which is fine. However I know that I will loose some of it.
I'll keep you posted on the issue with lumpiness and anything esle that may come up.
I loved my Plastic Surgeon |

| I'm now 6+ weeks post-op from having fat-transfer to my breasts. At this point my breasts are still soft and supple and I have no lumps. Initially I had 1 small lump in each breast but, they're gone now. My left breast still has some tenderness.
My breasts did get somewhat smaller but they are still a 34 B, just not overflowing. Of course, they're no longer swollen like they were the first couple of weeks after surgery. So far I'm very happy with them. I do hope that they stay right where they are now and don't get any smaller. I won't really know until about 4-6 months. Oh yeah, I did lose about 5 pounds due to my tummy tuck.
I'll report in again at about 3 months. |

| Hi There xpgmmsb1
This is the procedure I would like to have done. I am glad you have posted here... thank you!
Did you have a breast lift also or just the fat transfer? How do you feel about that? I would like to avoid the lift unless I really need it.
Do you mind telling me what you paid for it, although I recall you had other things done as well, so you may not be able to quote that.
I am now VERY slim after losing almost 90 lbs. I am 5' ll.5" and 142 lbs. I think I have done all I can with my wegiht loss.
I still have a bit of fat on my tummy and thighs that I would love to have transfered to my breasts. I want them small and firm, no larger than what you have.
Do you have before and after pics, or know of a place I can go and see some.
Thanks so much!

| Hi Breezy,
I haven't been to this forum in quite a while. Anyway, I did gain some volume from the fat transfer, however, only about 1 cup size. I an now 15 weeks post-op and I would say that I'm a small B. I did not get a lift because I was so small that they didn't sag very far.
If I were going to do this again to get more volume, I'd try the Brava method where you wear this contraption on your breasts. It stretches the area where the fat will go so that it's not sqwished and you won't lose as much fat. It's also supposed to encourage bloodflow to the area so the transplanted fat cells will live.
About the cost, I had, lipo, a full tummy tuck and the fat transfer. The whole thing cost around $18,000 and the surgery took almost 4 hours. I belive that the lipo and fat transfer alone would have been around $10-12k.
I hope this helps! |
