Default Using botox for jaw muscle reduction instead of surgery?

Does anyone know anything about this? They inject botox right into the jaw muscle and it makes it smaller.

Botox jaw reduction only works if the muscle is enlarged. Botox is injected into the it and weakening it so it gradually becomes smaller through atrophy over the span of a few months. However results are not seen generally for 1 to 3 months and peak results at around 3 to 9 months. The nice thing about this is there is no down time and the improvement is gradual so many people you interact with are much less likely to notice it. Again this only works if you have an overly enlarged jaw muscle, if not you're just throwing away money because it's not going to do anything to your bone.

I am an Asian female and had this procedure done and it did indeed work. But like the user above me said it only affects the muscle. I had a lot of muscle there so there were good results but if you didn't have that it won't do much.

The American get jaw implants and cheek implants to look more defined while the Asians want to downplay their beautiful jaw lines and cheekbones... how ironic.

I saw a video of this on Youtube and it was pretty impressive the results. My whole worry would be that entering the brain that would worry me a lot plus I think a strong jawline is better than a weak jawline on women too, not just men.
