Cheapest Botox in Los Angeles?
 

Who is the absolute cheapest for Botox in Los Angeles? I recently lost some weight so I'm kind of doing a whole makeover and of course that includes anti-wrinkle care! I actually don't even live in LA or California but I have heard that there are lower prices there so I figured I would get it done when I visit my daughter who goes to college there. Any of you plastic surgery forum people can recommend a place for cheap botox?

But do you really want to decide your beauty on prices? I don't know if I would necessarily go with the cheapest. you want to have good results and not be a disaster story. That is why I dont understand when people price shop for cosmetic surgery like its shopping for a car or something. Not all are created equal. Just because you get it cheaper from one person doesn't mean it's the same. That being said being that Botox is pretty straight forward out of all the procedures I guess that is one I would be okay with doing this for if any.

Botox is such a cash cow that nowadays you have everyone from dentists to dermatologists and in-between offering it. With that much competition you should be able to find a great price, especially in a city like L.A.

I think most of the doctors have similar pricing for Botox. Unless you go to Bev Hills or something then you can expect to pay more.

What I want to know is when will this stuff go generic? Once it does I'm sure the prices will come way down and dermatologists will do it for the price of an office visit.

I don't know about Los Angeles but I know that Allergan who makes Botox use to have a card for discounts that after you did so many treatments you would get a coupon for $50 off or something for treatment. That may be something to look into wherever you get it done. I'm not entirely sure if they're still doing it but I do know they were doing it a year ago you should call up a surgeons office and ask to find out. Also you may want to consider wrinkle fillers like Juvederm too.

I think an easy way to bring down the price of Botox for you is to get less. I always shudder when a doctor says that you have to pay for a min. amount of cc's. It is my opinion anyway, that less is more with Botox. The trend is really to be going for minimal work done, with some flaws still noticeable -- otherwise you look done.
