Will Botox Make You Happy?

According to this article by Discover Magazine, Botox may contribute to happiness.

However, I have my doubts.

Interesting article, however, the sample size (number of participants) in many of the trials deem the results inadequate, professionally speaking.

Is it possible? Sure. Is it probable? I have my doubts.

I am somewhat scared of Botox due to what comprises it, but I have a feeling my face will be meeting this paralyzing chemical in the distant future. Unless they come out with something safer/better ... ;)

It certainly has the potential to enhance the facial profile. In addition, it has its uses for the body as well. Erm... well, I would like Botox for my forehead lines and lips at some point in the not too distant future and I'm hoping that my lips are rejuvenated and my forehead lines uncreased to some relatively decent extent, so yes - I would say it does.

Like I stated earlier in this post, "Interesting article, however, the sample size (number of participants) in many of the trials deem the results inadequate, professionally speaking."

As a professional, I would have to say the research needs to be repeated.

Personally, when people look better, they have the potential to feel better. Hmm ... :)

In that case, our insurance should start covering cosmetic Botox treatments... it's cheaper than name brand antidepressants :p

I love Botox and yes, am happy it's there for me to use instead of having a brow lift. :)

So far I have absolutely no wrinkles and am convinced Botox has helped. What I do have are a few "folds" in my forehead when it wears off. I've been having it injected into my forehead since age 34 and am almost 41.

Eventually I may need a brow lift but for now this works wonders for me. I don't think it has hurt my brain at all. LOL :)

Careful with the brow lift, firefly. Stick with the botox as long as possible as I've seen horrible brow lift results, even with "good" surgeons.

Oh yes, brow lifts hardly ever look natural. It's one of those things where changing it at all will often stand out like a sore thumb.
