scarless arm lift / arm lift without scar the reason I came to this forum is to find out if there is such thing as a scarless arm lift surgery. my arms are not THAT bad and leaving behind a 10" scar is not my idea of what I want them to look like. have they found a way do them without scars yet? i am 90% sure the answer is no but if they can do it please tell me where to go. if not is there anything about them being able to do it in the future? |
I know there is a "hidden scar” arm lift available. You end up with a horizontal scar across your armpit. Some docs do it as an outpatient procedure. Most peeple are able to return to work in three days, do light cardio in 7-10 days, and are fully healed in 6-8 or 8-10 weeks. |

Yes, Robyne's idea of doing a short scar arm lift is the closest you can get. From what I've heard this way only works on milder cases, and won't be much help if there's a great deal of skin and flab closer to the elbows. How bad would you say yours are? I think we're a long ways off from having scarless arm lifts. Even if they cut out the flab laparoscopically you would still be left with the extra skin, so I don't know if an armlift with a scar will ever be possible, or at least not until they find a way to make scars disappear. Good luck! :) |
